Planning is underway for the second Biennial, taking place in Autumn 2019.

We look forward to sharing with you our news and future plans in the coming months. Thank you to Coventry City Council, Coventry University and Arts Council England for their support, and allowing us to undertake a period of crucial development.

A new website and new identity for the Festival is coming soon.

Assembly Birmingham

We were chuffed to hear a-n have organised another series of Assembly events across the country this summer. Led by locally based artists, the events bring artists together for workshops, talks and get-togethers that focus on the issues that matter most to that region’s artist community. On Friday 15 June, Assembly comes to Eastside Projects in Birmingham.

Working in collaboration with artist and curator Antonio Roberts, Assembly Birmingham will address the increasing amount of development taking place across the city and the Midlands as a whole, exploring both the opportunities and the challenges this presents for the visual arts community in the region.

Ryan Hughes, Director of the Biennial has been invited to be on one of the panels at the event.

Tickets are free for a-n members or £5 for non-members. They can be booked here.
